Our Process & Pricing
OUR PROCESS
Generally, projects are divided into two areas of focus: the design process and the construction phase. A landscape designer and a contractor are hired. As a design-builder, Creekwood Design assumes both of these roles. We begin by working with our clients to develop a full design, once completed the installation of hardscapes and planting elements can begin. We find this system streamlines the process by overlapping the design phase and construction phase of a project to ensures the design will be built to our exact specifications and standards.
1. INITIAL CONSULTATION
Meet with client to discuss concepts, goals, objectives, schedules, and budget. Meeting at this stage is complementary.
2. SITE ANALYSIS
Photograph and document existing conditions, opportunities, and constraints. Review all relevant information such as surveys, legal data, and building plans, etc.
3. CONCEPTUAL DESIGN
We utilize client information and site analysis to creatively produce a preliminary design. Selection of hardscape and softscape materials also begins at this stage.
4. FINAL DESIGN
A typical finalized plan includes item types such as: gravel, river rock, sod, mulch, edging, plants and plant quantities.
5. COST ESTIMATE
Once the design is finalized and approved by our client we can then properly bid the project. At that time any adjustments can be made to stay within the client’s budget.
6. INSTALLATION
To ensure the design is built to our exact intended specifications and to control the overall quality of the project. We manage and oversee all aspecs of the installation.
